2009 F1 Stock car Fantasy league

The 2008 League:

The 2008 league run virtually to the same rules as the 2007 league. The major difference being the F1 season was split in two at the half way stage, the reason for this was, only one joker could be played in each half of the season. If you didn't play your joker in the first half, you lost the chance to play it and only had the second half seasons joker to give your score a boost. This year saw a close competition between Kruiz and the eventual winner Jon_P. Kruiz came home second. The 2008 league raised £183 in aid of the drivers trust fund.

The 2007 League:

The 2007 league saw a drastic over haul from the previous season. There were no set rules on what graded drivers you had to use, but a switch to drivers being given monetary vaules and a budget of £45 million pounds saw participants using tactics and racing knowledge to build a team that would win them the league. This year also saw the introduction of jokers. The league was won by a distant Kruiz, from seconded place Anson and a close third SEM. The final table is below:

The 2006 League:

Last year, Stoxnet forum member, Jimmy259 started a free fantasy Stock car league for the F1’s, once launched the idea proved very popular with people on the forum, it proved too popular for Jimmy to cope, he then asked me to help him out with the scoring. About half way through the year Jimmy couldn’t continue counting the scores and dropped out. Not to disapoint the participants of the league, i kept counting the scores, with the view that i wouldnt carry keep the league going in 2007, however a change of opinion, see's me carrying on the task on to this year, Hopefully it'll be even better!

 - You had to choose from the entire roster of F1 drivers; 1 superstar, 3 reds, 4 blues, 5 yellows and 5 whites.

 - Each team in the league had the opportunity to change 3 drivers through out the entire season.

 - The scoring for each team was subject to whether a driver from the team finished in the first 3 places of each race (excluding the Grand National)  These points were based on a standard national points meeting structure. For example all Heats were 12 for the win, 10 for second and 9 for third.

 - If a driver was upgraded, then the driver remained in his/her fantasy league grade, but received an extra 10 points for the up-grading. For a downgraded driver, they remained in their fantasy league grade, but were deducted 5 points for the down grading.

Out of 68 teams, Stoxnet forum member V8132 won the league with a three hundred point advantage over second place man, Wisecol. With the bronze going to UnCovered Elephant.
